OUR STORY
Born in the province of Cape Town, Stienie Chédel-Booysen has developed a real passion for the region's wine in recent years. A generation of enterprising winegrowers, a particular climate - sun and heat, tempered by the influence of the two oceans, clay-limestone soils perfectly suited to viticulture - produce great quality wines, both white and red. Stienie and Olivier, her husband, intend to share their passion for Cape wines and make these wines known, particularly in French-speaking Switzerland.
OUR WINES COME FROM SOUTH AFRICA
Since the end of the Apartheid regime in the 90s, the Cape region has experienced a dramatic evolution in wine production. Many winemakers began to experiment to improve the quality of wines, and today they are able to produce refined, renowned, high-quality wines, recognized worldwide and rivaling those from Europe and other regions of the world. Unfortunately, Cape wines are not yet well known in French-speaking Switzerland - our ambition is to change that and share our passion with you by making you discover the various grape varieties and renowned estates of this magical place.

Located in the upper part of the old town of Versoix, the new KAP KAAI boutique not only offers its selection of South African wines to take away but also a beautiful intimate space to come and relax while tasting some of our favorite Cape wines.
