The first owner of Constantia based Buitenverwachting was Simon van der Stel, the first Governor of the Dutch Cape Colony, now owned by the Mueller Family growing a large variety of grapes. The Meifort is a Bordeaux Blend (mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Merlot) with an enticing bouquet, exhibiting plum and cherry notes, at an attractive price - one of the best price/quality relation one can get !
